Mr. Ben Clark was formally appointed CEO in May 2019, after acting as interim CEO and Managing Director since March 2019, and was previously the General Manager of AMOG Pty Ltd. He has been an Executive Director since 2016. Prior to this, he was the CEO of AMOG’s JV company, Mooring System Solutions Pty Ltd. Mr. Clark has been with the AMOG group since 2006, before which he served as a specialist Frigate and Deep Draught Navigator, and Principal Warfare Officer in the Royal Australian Navy. In addition to his offshore installation management and practical navigation experience, Mr. Clark has spent time in key management roles as the General Manager of AMOG’s Perth office, the Deputy Port Manager at Fleet Base West (the Royal Australian Navy’s largest port facility), and as an instructor at the Royal Australian Navy’s School of Navigation.

Mr. Andrew Thomson has been an executive director of AMOG Pty Ltd since December 2011, having joined AMOG in 2007 as a principal engineer, and was appointed General Manager of AMOG Pty Ltd in March 2019. Prior to joining AMOG, his career included Project and Design Engineering experience covering Maritime, Defence and Infrastructure sectors, included Senior Engineering and Project Management roles with prime contractors on the Royal Australian Navy ANZAC Ship Project, the Melbourne City Link Project and Royal New Zealand Navy Project Protector. Mr. Thomson has been involved in leading Projects for the Defence, mining, infrastructure, and transport sectors, as well as providing expert witness services. This has included forensic review of marine craft structural failures, the design and installation of a large mine tailings ofshore disposal pipeline, multiple motorways projects, and a number of national and international expert winess matters across the infrastructure and offshore/onshore oil and gas sectors.

Mr. Dan Washington joined AMOG in 2003 and has held a range of roles within the business, inclduing setting up the safety engineering group, serving as General Manager (2007-2012), Managing Director (2012-2014), and Director of International Operations (2014-2017). Prior to joining AMOG, Mr. Washington served for 9 years as a Weapons Electrical Engineer Officer in the Royal Australian Navy in a range of operational, project, and training roles.

Mr. Washington has wide consulting experience in Safety Engineering and Management as well as extensive experience in the conduct of military system safety programs, particularly for naval projects, gained from a multitude of projects, including those associated with ordnance and submarine safety systems. He also has had significant involvement in decision support activities and project risk management reviews for both Defence and floating offshore facilities.

MS. Melaina Oldham

Ms Oldham joined AMOG in 2012 as the inaugural Marketing Manager before becoming CMO of the AMOG Companies in 2023. She was appointed Company Secretary in April 2021. Ms Oldham has experience across media, FMCG and B2B industries, having worked within both global entities and SMEs prior to joining AMOG. She has a broad range of skills and over 25 years experience across multiple marketing disciplines including; marketing operations and planning, brand strategy, agency briefing and management, consumer research and insights, retail trade marketing and account management, and content creation.

RADM PETER MARSHALL AM (RANR)

Rear Admiral Marshall joined the board of AMOG Pty Ltd in 2017, having provided strategic advice, as well as Defence industry engagement, to the AMOG business in the prior period. An experienced senior executive and engineer, his distinguished career in the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) has included deployments to the Middle East, and senior level postings including serving as the Director Naval Certification, Safety and Acceptance, as the Patrol Boat Force Element Group Commander, and the position of Chief Naval Engineer and Head of Marine Systems in the DMO. Upon his retirement from the RAN, RADM Marshall was appointed by the Chief of Navy as an independent Technical Member of the Defence Seaworthiness Board; balancing his technical skills with his extensive experience in planning and policy formulation, and his successful leadership of large and diverse multi-disciplinary workforces delivering major CAPEX projects. An inspiring and committed leader, RADM Marshall was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in 2009.

Dr. Bill Schofield AM worked in the Department of Defence [DSTO] for 39 years rising to be the Director of the Aeronautical and Maritime Research Laboratories with the remit to supply all science and technology services to the Navy and the Air force. Before that he held the position of First Assistant Secretary Science Policy of the Defence Department in Canberra where he was responsible in negotiating all S&T outcomes with the ADF and the Defence Materiel Organisation. Since retiring from the Department he has worked for a wide range of Defence related companies, including as a director of ASC Ltd, and has conducted 10 reviews for various arms of vovernment and industry, including co-authoring the Kinnard Review of procurement practices in the Australian Department of Defence, and contributions to the Defence White Paper.

MS. MARGARET KENNEDY

Ms Kennedy joined AMOG in 2023 and is an experienced Non-Executive Director and has over 30+ years’ experience holding various Executive roles for Shell Australia, Viva Energy Australia and Viva Energy REIT (now Waypoint REIT) where she led the public listing and was the inaugural CEO. In addition to her role at AMOG, Ms Kennedy is the Chair and a Non-Executive Director on the Loreto Ministries Limited Board and is a member of the Province Finance Advisory Council for the Loreto Province Australia and South East Asia. Ms Kennedy is the Chair and Non-Executive Director of Challenger Retirement and Investment Services Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of the Challenger Group), and a member of the Audit Committee, and is also a Non-Executive Director of Hobart Inernational Airport. Ms Kennedy was formerly a Non-Executive Director on the Senex Energy Limited Board and during her tenure the company was acquired via a Scheme of Arrangement and privatised.
